Chicago Glass (UK) Ltd resolves Glass and architectural PPC framework defects on active construction sites.

Giving Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Project teams an alternative solution, which is often faster, cheaper and less disruptive to the programme than replacement.

We repair scratched glass panels, grinder and weld spatter on curtain walling, concreted and mortar contamination on glass surfaces, chipped and shelled balustrade panels, impact damages from scaffolding, scuffs and dents to powder coated metal frameworks and more. Work is carried out in-situ.

Our technicians hold GQA/CSCS cards as a minimum and are available to work across construction sites in mainland UK. For London and the Southeast, we can typically attend within 48 hours of your written quote acceptance. All scratch repairs see the glass restored back to the BSI standard for the appearance of newly installed glass.

We hold the CHAS Elite accreditation and are members of the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF). We complete pre-qualification questionnaires (PPQ), supplier evaluation forms and subcontractor vetting documentation as standard. RAMS are available on request.

Call 01634 735 616 or send your snagging list to us via email or our online call back form, for a free no-obligation written quotation.

Glass and PPC Framework defects are inevitable on active Construction Sites.

Glass and PPC Framework defects are inevitable on active Construction Sites.

What matters is how quickly they can be resolved.

Even on well managed construction sites, glass and PPC framework can be damaged during the build phase. Sparks from angle grinders, accidental contact from scaffold strikes, surface scratches, impact damages, and splashes from concrete or mortar can all leave visible defects.

The issue is rarely whether defects will appear on a snagging list. The real concern is whether resolving them will delay practical completion, trigger variations or hits your retained sum.

Chicago Glass (UK) Ltd provides a practical alternative to accepting the defect or replacing the panel entirely. We carry out specialist onsite restoration of damaged glass and PPC framework on-site, helping you keep your project on track and your programme moving.
