Before any work begins, Tom or Petita will discuss with you the snags you have onsite, clearly explaining how we work and quantifying the damage, before setting out the scope of works, along with costs, important notes to be aware of, and payment terms via a free no-obligation written quotation, so you know what to expect from the outset.

Sustainability. Every day, our technicians restore a scratched, contaminated, impact damaged glass panel on construction sites. Enabling that panel to stay in the building and out of the landfill. The same goes for architectural metal framework. Rather than being scrapped, it gets a second life. No transportation of waste panels, no unnecessary manufacturing of new glass or metalwork, extending product lifecycles and reducing construction waste.

We work within your programme, not ours. If certain panels need to be prioritised, whether that is pre-handover areas, client walk routes, or locations awaiting sign-off, we plan the work around your schedule. If needed, we can also work evenings and weekends to help keep your programme moving. We can carry out repairs at any stage of the build. We can work at any stage of the build, carry out repairs on site and usually with the glass in situ, and support a wide range of glass panels and metal framework. We also aim to respond quickly, often attending site within two working days, and always with a focus on quality workmanship, straightforward service, and cost-effective repair where replacement may not be necessary.

We operate across mainland UK. Our head office is in Rochester, Kent, and our technicians work nationwide. Whether your site is in London, Manchester, Birmingham, or elsewhere in the UK, we will confirm availability and lead times when you get in touch.

We can mobilise a team, not just one technician. We can support projects of all sizes. If you have damaged panels across multiple floors, plots, or blocks and a deadline to meet, we can scale our team to suit your requirements.

Our technicians hold GQA and CSCS cards as a minimum. They are fully prepared for live construction environments and understand the practical and safety requirements of working on active sites.

Confidentiality is part of how we work. We understand the importance of discretion and do not refer to specific site locations in any online media unless we have your written permission to do so.

Procurement, Compliance & Supplier Approval

We understand that getting us on site may require Chicago Glass (UK) Ltd being approved as a new subcontractor, if you have not used us before. Here is what we hold and what we can provide:

• CHAS Elite accreditation - certificate available on request.
• GGF Membership - we are a member of the Glass & Glazing Federation.
• GQA/CSCS cards - all our technicians hold as a minimum.
• RAMS - can be provided on request.
• Insurances - A copy of our insurance document is available on request. We have the following insurances: Employers Liability, Public/Products Liability, Service Liability, Contractors All Risks, and Professional Indemnity.
• Policies - We have company policies relating to: Health & Safety, Quality, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Modern Slavery, and Drug & Alcohol.
• New Supplier Forms - we can complete your own supplier forms and return.
• Trade Credit Accounts - available, subject to credit and reference checks.
